WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED IN ECOFRIENDLY GAMES?

The Ecofriendly Game mark on the box means that the game was made using only environmentally friendly biodegradable or recyclable materials.

There is no place for plastic in these games – we replace all plastic elements with wood, cardboard, paper or fabric.

After all, a cardboard token is still a token, and our Ecofriendly games are characterised by the same quality as their standard counterparts.

FSC-certified raw materials for the box, cards, boards and other cardboard elements.

FSC CERTIFICATION PROTECTS FOREST ECOSYSTEMS AND HELPS US FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE.

FSC prevents illegal logging, forest degradation, and deforestation of certified areas. By buying FSC-certified products, you contribute to the protection of forest ecosystems and thus to reducing the impact of climate change.

Ready-made solutions

Card and box formats were selected by publishers from a standard pool – as a result, the factory does not consume additional energy.

Inks and varnishes

Ecofriendly games use only biodegradable inks and varnishes, which are safe for children and used even in the food industry.

We print the games on state-of-the-art full-format offset printing machines, powered by renewable energy.

Adhesives

Adhesives are required for making boards and boxes, as well as assembling cardboard elements.

Ecofriendly games use biodegradable resin-based adhesives.

Tokens, dice, markers

There is no place for plastic in Ecofriendly games! All the elements are made of FSC-certified wood, cardboard or paper.

Films

Until now, films and wraps of all kinds were a pressing issue in our industry; however, we managed to come up with a new and environmentally friendly solution. Ecofriendly games use new technology, which enables us to pack them in biodegradable cellophane and biodegradable shrink wrap.

Instead of ziploc bags, we use OEKO-TEX-certified cardboard boxes, as well as paper and cotton sacks.

Secondary packaging

When you choose Ecofriendly production variant, the finished products are packed in FSC-certified boxes, which are then wrapped with biodegradable film.
